Carilion Clinic Interventional Radiology Manager in Roanoke, Virginia
Carilion Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and highly motivated individual to join our professional and hardworking team as Interventional and Neurointerventional Radiology Manager. A detailed understanding of Interventional and Neurointerventional Radiology workflow, the ability to manage staff needs professionally and purposefully, and the ability to manage acute tasks while planning for long term growth are requirements. The manager will serve in a leadership role with physicians, nurses, technologists, and administration to lead the section including 17 technologists, 12 nurses, five radiology technologist assistants, and two medical office assistants. Required credentials include Radiology Technologist or Registered Nurse certification and a bachelor’s degree.
The interventional radiology team at Carilion Clinic serves Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, an 850-bed primary stroke referral and level 1 trauma center in Roanoke, Virginia and is home to the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. The hospital is designated as a Magnet Hospital for nursing. The IR team boasts the latest Siemens technology with four angiography suites, six ultrasounds, and a dedicated CT scanner. The team offers the most advanced procedures including oncologic embolization and ablation, trauma embolization, TIPS, pulmonary thrombolysis, peripheral vascular interventions, stroke intervention, cerebral aneurysm coiling, kyphoplasty, and many others.

Education: Bachelor degree required.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience Inpatient or Outpatient Imaging area. Interventional Radiology Experience Strongly Preferred. Management experience preferred.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Certification or registration in a radiologic related technology preferred.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Satisfactory completion of Managers Orientation program. Must possess positive interpersonal communication skills, effective written skills, analytical finance skills, and a customer-focused philosophy of service delivery.
