An outstanding leadership opportunity has become available at our headquarters in Roanoke, Virginia, in the heart of the picturesque and serene Blue Ridge Mountains. The Director of Compensation will serve as an essential member of the HR leadership team. Responsibilities include enterprise-wide programs that are consistent with our values and support the achievement of organizational objectives and initiatives. Partners with leadership and provides technical expertise to ensure effective usage of compensation best practices, integration of a total rewards strategy, and the education of our employees. Engages and mentors the compensation team to provide analytical and admin support for market based salary and incentive programs. Manages operations for the department, job and salary infrastructure, vendor management, and compliance with FLSA and other regulatory requirements. Collaborates to recommend executive compensation, benchmarking, program design and improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required.

EXPERIENCE: 7 years of HR experience with a minimum of 3 years related compensation experience. Demonstrated analytical skills with translation into actionable and clear solutions. Ability to build strong partnerships. Inspire and engage team members. Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and project management skills. Flexible and proactive problem solver adept at achieving results in a team-oriented, evolving, and matrixed structured environment. Must possess a high degree of detail orientation, integrity, discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.

CERTIFICATION: Professional HR certification preferred.
