80% PATIENT CARE AND 20% ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES Support Carilion's hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities. Provides professional care to patients of all ages within therapy areas. Provides lead supervision to multidisciplinary rehabilitation therapy staff to assure quality patient care. Assumes responsibilities delegated by manager. Assists with development and coordination of strategically aligned processes related to patient care. Facilitates effective open two-way communication and resolution of work site operational issues. Minimum Qualifications Required Education: Graduate of accredited program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology. Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience in related discipline. Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Virginia Licensed Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology (license and CCC-SLP). Other Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrates leadership qualities at current level of practice and good interpersonal and communication skills. Basic personal computing skills, including e-mail, word processing, and spreadsheet skill. BLS-certified (from a Carilion approved program) within six months of employment.
