Mental Health Therapist for Inpatient Psychiatry

Support Carilion's hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities. Provides therapeutic services to patients from young adult through advanced adulthood. Services include provision of initial assessment, individual, family and group therapy. Works as a member of the multidisciplinary team.

Minimum Qualifications Required

Education: Masters in Social Work, Counseling or related field required. Behavioral Health specialty license preferred.

Experience: One to three years of related experience required.

Licensure, certification, and/orregistration: N/A

Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills required. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position.
