Carilion Clinic INSTRUCTOR in Roanoke, Virginia
Basic Function Will supervise and evaluate students during laboratory skills practice or assigned clinical rotations, instructs course components in areas of certification/licensure. Assists in evaluation and revision of course components presented. If working clinically, will plan and execute clinical experiences appropriate to course objectives and didactic course components. Minimum Qualifications Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Nationally Registered paramedic and/or licensed Registered Nurse in Virginia.Experience: Two (2) years of field EMS as a paramedic and/or clinical experience as an RN required. Teaching experience preferred.Other Minimum Qualifications: Must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Good understanding of educational principles and methodologies.
